We stand for quality and flexibility in sheet steel and slitted steel at very competitive prices. Vogten Staal BV in Maastricht is part of a group of companies consisting primarily of steel-orientated firms. Our main activity is trading in sheet steel and slitted steel, produced within our own company. In addition, contracted-out processing is offered as a service to customers who supply their own material in order to have one or more operations carried out on the material.
With approximately 60 experienced employees, for three generations now and at two locations in the Beatrixhaven Maastricht, Vogten has been processing mainly hot rolled products from the coil. For this we use the most modern techniques available anywhere in the world. The operations consist primarily of pickling, decoiling and slitting coils, cutting to size and/or forming/profiling of sheet steel.
In its market segment, Vogten is unique in Europe because it has a combination of manufacturing capabilities available, which nobody else can offer from a single source. In addition, Vogten is one of the few steel service companies on this scale in Europe which keeps its own stock and does not belong to a steel mill. This allows us to buy in steel in large quantities from suppliers who supply a product that is set to meet the high standards of quality and price current at the time of purchase. As a result, we are able to offer a short delivery time and a strong price.
After arrival and processing in Maastricht, the steel finds its way to the industrial end user, mainly in Western Europe.
